Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has expressed condolences to Kwara State over the Woro community attack, describing it as tragic and commending federal security intervention.
Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has condoled with the government and people of Kwara State over a deadly attack in Woro Community, Kaiama Local Government Area. Reports said no fewer than 176 people were killed by bandits during the attack, with many residents displaced.
In a statement by Information Commissioner Idowu Ajanaku, the Ondo government described the incident as “painful” and “disturbing,” adding, “Ondo State stands in solidarity with Kwara State at this difficult time.” The government also commended President Bola Tinubu for deploying military personnel to the affected areas.
