A fire incident occurred at Terminal 2 of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on Sunday, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria confirmed in a statement on its official X handle, PUNCH reports.
FAAN said its Aerodrome Rescue and Firefighting Service had been deployed and was “working diligently to contain the situation.” The authority confirmed there were “no reported casualties or loss of life” and promised further updates as more information becomes available.
