Nigeria’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reports a marginal decrease in the average retail price of kerosene per litre for May 2026, reaching N2,971.94 from N2,976.94 in April.
Despite this slight dip, year-on-year prices have climbed significantly by 36.62%. Sokoto recorded the highest price at N3,984.09 per litre, while Bayelsa offered the lowest at N2,018.79.
