The Association of Corporate Communication and Marketing Professionals in Banks (ACAMB) visited the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS) urging for enhanced adoption of digital payments, including QR codes. ACAMB President Jide Sipe emphasized the need for a unified industry voice on payment systems and accurate communication during service disruptions.
NIBSS CEO Premier Oiwoh highlighted the foundational role of digital payment infrastructure for economic inclusion and affirmed NIBSS’s commitment to seamless, reliable payment systems. Both parties discussed strengthening payment rails and expanding QR code usage.
