Anytime Nigeria makes progress,it angers Peter Obi – Presidency

President Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has launched a blistering social media attack on Labour Party’s Peter Obi, accusing him of flip-flopping on key policy positions — from fuel subsidy removal to state police — that the Tinubu administration has since implemented.

Daniel Bwala just picked up a megaphone — and aimed it squarely at Peter Obi.

President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication fired off a scathing post on X, accusing the Labour Party presidential candidate of doing a spectacular U-turn on every major policy he once championed — policies the Tinubu administration has since delivered.

“I don’t know why every time Nigeria makes progress, it angers Peter Obi @PeterObi. Why?” Bwala wrote, according to his verified X account.

He didn’t stop there.

“It is the same Nigeria he is trying to govern in his wild goose chase. It might be true to say that the only person he pays attention to is the mad man on Opi-iweka road,” Bwala added — a line that is already generating considerable online reaction.

The policy indictment was methodical and pointed. Daily Post reported that Bwala alleged that before the 2023 elections, Obi promised to remove the fuel subsidy — Tinubu did it. Obi promised state police — Tinubu delivered it. Obi promised forex unification — Tinubu implemented it.

Now, Bwala claims, Obi is walking back all three positions ahead of 2027.

“It looks like he doesn’t have a clear idea of what he intends to do for Nigeria,” the presidential aide concluded.

Obi’s camp is yet to respond publicly to the broadside.

With 2027 already casting long shadows, Nigeria’s political temperature just climbed several degrees — and Bwala lit the match.
