The Federal Government has announced the reopening of the 47 unity schools earlier closed due to security concerns. The decision was confirmed in a statement issued on Thursday by the Ministry of Education.
According to the ministry, the reopening reflects the government’s commitment to protecting students while ensuring the continuity of learning across the affected federal colleges.
The unity schools were shut weeks ago following the abduction of students in some parts of the country. The government said further details on safety measures would be communicated in due course.
