A German airport worker has died from malaria in a rare outbreak. Five colleagues also contracted the disease, believed to have originated from mosquitoes on an aircraft. Investigations are ongoing to determine the source of infection.
Authorities are analyzing mosquito samples from the airport, the site of a similar rare case in 2023.
