CBN RATE CUT: INVESTORS PILE INTO LONG-TERM BILLS
Nigerian investors are flocking to longer-term fixed-income, with overwhelming demand for one-year treasury bills. The Central Bank of Nigeria’s recent auction saw N3.63 trillion bid for 364-day T-bills, making up 95.9% of total bids despite the CBN cutting the stop rate. This indicates a strong appetite for extended returns in the market.
