High Chief Sobomabo Jackrich, also known as Egberipapa, has formally petitioned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He seeks the urgent integration of his Niger Delta Liberation Force (NDLF) camp into the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) and a comprehensive financial audit of the program. Jackrich highlighted that over 4,000 former agitators from his camp have been excluded from PAP for 17 years, despite a Senate resolution in 2021 recommending their inclusion with 2,000 slots. He warns that continued delays could jeopardize peace in the region.
