Ilebaye’s father, Emmanuel Odiniya, has accused the BBNaija star of neglecting him financially and disrespecting family values, amid ongoing police investigations into an alleged domestic assault.
Emmanuel Godson Odiniya, father of BBNaija All Stars winner Ilebaye Odiniya, has spoken on their rift, alleging neglect and lack of financial support from his daughter during a medical situation.
In an audio recording shared online, he claimed he mobilised support and political influence to secure votes for her during the reality show she eventually won.
He said, “I used my influence seriously to make people of Kogi State and all over vote massively for my daughter.”
Odiniya alleged that after the show, she refused to appreciate supporters and also declined to assist him financially ahead of a medical trip.
He further claimed past conflicts included disrespect, family disputes, and alleged domestic issues.
Meanwhile, police in Abuja confirmed Odiniya’s arrest following a reported assault on his daughter at their Wuye residence.
Ilebaye is yet to publicly respond to the allegations.
