FOUNDATION FOR INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISM:
Disturbing videos showing groups of men in Ozoro, Delta State, molesting young women in public have been circulating on social media since Thursday evening.
The videos, recorded at different times, involve even students of higher institutions in the area.
For instance, Trinity, who says she is a student of Southern Delta University, posted a call for help on her wall about how men were sexually harassing and groping female students.

In one clip, a young woman stands surrounded by men, crying openly as she tries to convince her assaulters that she will not run. Her voice cracks as she begs. The men, however, ignore her completely. They keep groping her as she tries to shield herself with nowhere to go.
FIJ saw other videos from the community where women’s underwear lay on the roadway. In one clip, a witness stood at a distance and screamed in pidgin about how someone’s girlfriend was gone. The witness, a male, was recording a woman being pursued by a group of young men in the background. He shouts, “Person babe dey go, Jesus.” The video carries a caption.
