Dangote Refinery has reduced its Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) gantry price by N25 per litre to N774, a move seen as part of efforts to undercut fuel importers in Nigeria.
Dangote Refinery has slashed its Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) gantry price to N774 per litre from N799 per litre, in what industry observers describe as a strategic move to edge out fuel importers in the domestic market.
The 650,000 barrels-per-day refinery disclosed the price adjustment in a notice issued on Tuesday, confirming a N25 reduction in its entry price for petrol sold at the gantry.
“This is to notify you of a change in our PMS gantry price from N799 per liter to N774 per liter,” the refinery said, adding to growing competition in Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector.
