Tinubu forced Obi, Kwankwaso to work together – Dele Momodu

Dele Momodu claims political pressure from Tinubu is behind the growing alignment between opposition figures ahead of 2027.

Dele Momodu has claimed that Bola Tinubu indirectly pushed opposition figures Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso into alignment ahead of the 2027 elections. Speaking during a television interview, he argued the emerging cooperation is driven more by political pressure than genuine unity.

“Tinubu forced all of them together. And that is why they all moved in one direction,” Momodu said, adding that such alignment could have created a strong two-party contest.

He questioned assumptions about voter loyalty, asking, “Are you saying that Tinubu will retain all the 8 million plus people that voted for him last time?”

Momodu also suggested shifting political dynamics, warning that no candidate can rely solely on past support while urging calm among political actors.
