Christantus Uche could leave Crystal Palace for Real Betis after a difficult season in England.
According to Soccernet, Real Betis are preparing a €15 million bid for Super Eagles midfielder Christantus Uche ahead of the summer transfer window. The 22-year-old impressed at Getafe CF during the 2024/25 season, scoring four goals and providing six assists in 33 La Liga appearances.
However, his loan spell at Crystal Palace proved disappointing, with all 14 Premier League appearances coming from the bench. Uche managed just 158 league minutes and failed to register a goal or assist under manager Oliver Glasner. Betis coach Manuel Pellegrini reportedly values Uche’s versatility and believes a return to Spain could revive his career. If signed, Uche would become the fifth Nigerian player in Betis history.
