Two police officers were killed in an ambush by gunmen on the Amansea–Ndiora–Ndiukwuenu–Awa–Ufuma Road in Anambra State. The incident occurred Sunday night during a convoy operation. The convoy was reportedly carrying the Chief of Staff to the state governor, who escaped unharmed, though some civilians sustained injuries. The Anambra State Police Command has launched a manhunt for the perpetrators.
