Kebbi State and UNICEF have launched a critical nutrition program to combat severe malnutrition among children. The initiative will distribute 10,500 cartons of Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) across 11 local government areas.
Governor Nasir Idris praised UNICEF’s swift response, highlighting the program’s alignment with his administration’s commitment to food security and healthcare. The intervention aims to save thousands of children suffering from Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM).
