Jigawa Battles Floods with New Excavators
Jigawa State is gearing up to combat flooding by deploying six amphibious excavators for Hadejia River dredging and aquatic weed clearance. Governor Umar Namadi made the announcement during a tool distribution event to 15 community organizations in Auyo on Saturday. The initiative aims to protect communities and farmlands from escalating flood risks, marking a crucial step in environmental protection efforts.
