The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) is urging Ndigbo, both at home and abroad, to return to the South-East for Christmas celebrations, promising robust security measures throughout the region. IPOB spokesperson Emma Powerful dismissed security concerns as propaganda and highlighted the region’s current tranquility.
The group also encouraged investment in the South-East, asserting that the ESN and IPOB volunteers are actively ensuring safety, and that the region remains peaceful due to the Igbo people’s nature.
