Former Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose, has stirred fresh political debate with a bold claim that President Bola Tinubu would defeat Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi even if Nigeria’s presidential election is conducted 10 times.
Speaking in an interview on EKTV, Fayose said calls for Tinubu’s resignation over insecurity were unnecessary, insisting the president still has time in office. He argued that opposition supporters on social media underestimate Tinubu’s political strength and resilience.
According to him, Tinubu’s emergence against strong odds in the past proves he cannot easily be unseated. The comments were reported by Daily Post Nigeria.
