Dangote Refinery has raised petrol’s ex-depot price to N1,350 per litre, its second N75 increase in seven days.
Dangote Refinery has raised its ex-depot price of petrol by N75, pushing the cost to N1,350 per litre from N1,275. The increase marks the second hike in seven days, following a similar N75 rise on April 29 that moved the price from N1,200 to N1,275 per litre. It is also the first price adjustment by the refinery in May. The back-to-back increases are likely to put fresh pressure on pump prices across Nigeria at a time when consumers are already grappling with the elevated cost of living.
