Cooking Gas Soars
Cooking gas prices near N2,000/kg across Nigeria as Eid-el-Kabir celebrations approach. The Federal Government declared May 27-28, 2026, as Sallah public holidays. Prices jumped from below N1,000/kg to N1,500-N1,800 nationwide, reaching N2,000 in some Ogun and northern areas, while Lagos, Abeokuta, and Ibadan see N1,600-N1,700.
