Atiku Abubakar Wins Sokoto ADC Primary
Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has secured the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential primary in Sokoto State, earning 68,823 votes. The announcement came Monday from returning officer Prof. Aminu Abubakar. The election saw a total of 69,434 votes cast. Abubakar defeated rivals Rotimi Amaechi and Muhammad Hayatu-Deen.
