Adelabu’s sister abduction: Oyo brings down kidnappers’ hideout

The Oyo State Government has commenced the demolition of a house in Ibadan allegedly used by kidnappers who abducted Adebayo Adelabu’s sister and her twins.

The Oyo State Government has begun demolishing a house allegedly used as a hideout by kidnappers who abducted the sister of former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, and her twins in Ibadan.

According to Daily Post, the demolition commenced on Monday at Lakoun Estate, Olomi-Olojuoro Road, in Oluyole Local Government Area of the state.

The victims were abducted last Wednesday but were rescued by police operatives on Saturday following security operations.

Reports indicate that the state government deployed heavy equipment to the site as part of efforts to bring down the building linked to the criminal gang.

The exercise is being carried out by officials of the Oyo State Ministry of Public Works and Transportation, with security provided by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force.

The move signals the government’s determination to crack down on kidnapping and other violent crimes, while sending a strong message to criminal elements operating within the state.
