NDC National Leader Seriake Dickson says activist Aisha Yesufu was offered a House of Representatives ticket by him and Peter Obi but turned it down.
According to Premium Times, Dickson made the claim during a press conference in Abuja while addressing the controversy over the NDC’s FCT senatorial primaries, which Yesufu alleged were manipulated against her.
Dickson said many people were “fighting for” the Reps ticket, but Yesufu rejected it. He did not say when the offer was made or which FCT constituency it covered.
Despite her criticism of the party, Dickson said Yesufu remains a member of the NDC, urging Obi supporters to build the party instead of attacking its leadership.
