The family of former Power Minister Adebayo Adelabu has confirmed the abduction of his sister, Mrs Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul, alongside her 12-year-old twin sons, Peter and Paul.
According to a statement reported by Arise News, the victims were kidnapped around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday while heading to school. Security agencies have since launched investigations and rescue operations, with the family urging calm and restraint from the public.
They also appealed against spreading unverified information that could disrupt ongoing efforts. The family expressed concern but said they remain confident in the ability of security operatives to secure the safe return of the victims. Further updates are expected as investigations continue in Ibadan, Oyo State.
