Ruto apologises to Northern Kenya over years of marginalisation

President William Ruto has issued a public apology to the people of Northern Kenya for decades of marginalisation. Speaking in Wajir, Ruto stated he was apologising on behalf of the nation. He expressed, “Pole ni sana ndugu zetu” (we are very sorry, our brothers and sisters), describing the moment as emotional and that the marginalisation was never intended.
