Nigerian wrestler Oba Femi defeated WWE legend Brock Lesnar in under five minutes at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, using his signature “fall from grace” move to send the 25-year veteran into retirement.
“I’ve idolized him, I’ve villainized him, so at WrestleMania when I beat him, I’m going to humanize him,” Femi told CNN ahead of the match.
The Lagos-born 28-year-old, also an accomplished shot putter and visual arts graduate, credits his Nigerian upbringing for his resilience and success.
