Wike Threatens Venues Hosting Unapproved Political Groups
FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has threatened to revoke property titles for event centers and hotels in Abuja that host unrecognised political groups. The move, announced by spokesperson Lere Olayinka, aims to ensure security and prevent unlawful activities. This warning comes just before a PDP faction plans to nominate Goodluck Jonathan for the 2027 presidency. The affected faction vows to proceed, calling it an “assault on democratic principles.”
