U.S. Army recruiter convicted of bank fraud, identity theft

A former U.S. Army recruiter, Jane Crosby, 35, of Jersey City, New Jersey, pleaded guilty in Newark federal court to bank fraud and aggravated identity theft. She admitted to using her position to obtain recruits’ personal data, then submitting fraudulent bank applications to a credit union on their behalf, a scheme spanning September to December 2023.
