President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that the toughest phase of his administration’s economic reforms is over, saying the country is beginning to reap the rewards of sacrifices made over the past three years.
According to Punch Newspapers, Tinubu, in his Eid-el-Kabir message on Tuesday, said Nigeria now has a more stable economy and is emerging as a preferred destination for investors, a development he believes will boost jobs and growth.
“The walk through the dark tunnel is over, and the light is here,” the President declared.
Tinubu also acknowledged ongoing security challenges but vowed that terrorists and bandits would ultimately be defeated, while urging Nigerians to embrace unity, compassion and prayers for the nation.
