Sokoto State police successfully repelled a large bandit attack on Friday, eliminating numerous criminals and recovering weapons and motorcycles. Police spokesman Ahmad Rufa’i confirmed the joint operation with military officers. Security forces and villagers reported no casualties in the engagement.
