Rihanna inside Beverly Hills mansion as gunman opens fire

Pop superstar Rihanna was inside her Beverly Hills mansion on Sunday when a woman allegedly fired approximately 10 rounds from an AR-15-style rifle at the property, though no injuries were reported.

Pop superstar Rihanna experienced a harrowing security breach on Sunday afternoon after her Beverly Hills mansion was targeted in a brazen shooting while she was reportedly inside the residence. Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officials responded to the luxury property at approximately 1:21 p.m. following reports of multiple gunshots. According to investigators, a 30-year-old woman parked a white Tesla across from the estate’s gate and unleashed roughly 10 rounds from what has been described as an AR-15-style rifle. At least one bullet successfully pierced an exterior wall of the colonial-style mansion, leaving visible damage on the property.

The “Diamonds” singer, who resides at the estate with her partner A$AP Rocky and their three young children, was home at the time of the incident, though authorities confirmed that neither she nor any family members sustained injuries. LAPD Sgt. Jonathan de Vera informed the media that the suspect fled the scene heading south on Coldwater Canyon Drive shortly after the discharge. Within 30 minutes of the initial 911 call, officers located the suspect vehicle at a shopping center in Sherman Oaks, approximately 12 kilometers away, where the woman was taken into custody without further incident. A firearm was recovered during the arrest.

The motive behind the attack remains a mystery as the LAPD Robbery-Homicide Division takes over the active investigation. Family sources indicated that the couple remains “unaware” of any specific cause or personal grievance that would lead to such an assault. While police have not released the suspect’s identity, she is expected to be formally booked on Monday. “I think that it is well documented,” one local report noted regarding the immediate police response, adding that the singer’s representatives have yet to issue a public comment. The shooting occurs as A$AP Rocky prepares for his upcoming world tour, which is scheduled to begin in May 2026.
