Oyo State Police have arrested four suspects linked to the abduction of former minister Adebayo Adelabu’s sister and her twin children.
According to The PUNCH, the Oyo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of four suspects connected to the kidnapping of Busola John-Paul, sister of former Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu, and her twin children. Police said the arrests followed intelligence-led operations that led officers to a hideout in Ibadan where the victims were rescued. Authorities also recovered firearms during the operation, while two suspected kidnappers were killed in a shootout with security operatives.
Police Commissioner Oluwagbemiga Abimbola said the breakthrough came after a tip-off and vowed that efforts were continuing to track down other fleeing members of the gang.
