Yoruba Nation agitator Sunday Igboho has flatly denied playing any role in the rescue of three kidnapped members of the Adelabu family in Oyo State, insisting security operatives deserve all the credit.
Sunday Igboho wants no part of this particular headline.
The Yoruba Nation agitator has publicly denied claims that he led — or was involved in — the operation that freed three members of the family of former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, who were abducted in Oyo State.
In a statement reported by The Guardian, Igboho said security personnel tracked the kidnappers, rescued the victims and arrested suspects — and they alone deserve the credit.
The denial came after media personality Rufai Oseni reportedly linked Igboho to the rescue. Igboho pushed back, urging the public to “rely on verified information.”
Investigations into the abduction are ongoing.
