The Federal Government has launched the 2026 National Research Fund Grant Cycle, offering N10 billion for research projects. TETFund will support initiatives across 30 priority thematic areas in Humanities and Social Sciences, Science, Engineering, Technology, and Innovation, and Cross-Cutting fields.
Lecturers in Nigerian public tertiary institutions are eligible to apply. Applications open August 31, 2026, with a deadline of October 15, 2026. The process is entirely online via the TETFund National Research Fund portal.
