NDC TARGETS GBAJABIAMILA

The Nigeria Democratic Congress has demanded the immediate suspension of Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, over allegations tied to the controversial Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council.

According to Peoples Gazette, the opposition party alleged that Gbajabiamila received ₦400 million through proxies and sought an additional ₦200 million in connection with the appointment of Adeniyi Adeyemi as PFIPC director-general.

The NDC also called on Bola Tinubu to set up an independent panel to investigate the agency’s alleged operations, account openings, staffing approvals and financial transactions.

The party further requested witness protection for Adeyemi and urged anti-graft agencies, the police and other government institutions to fully investigate the allegations and related claims surrounding the PFIPC affair.
