Nigeria Boosts Ebola Preparedness with N21.2M Funds
Nigeria’s federal government is releasing State Outbreak Investigation and Response Funds (S-OIRF) to states nationwide. This move aims to strengthen readiness against Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) and other public health threats. The Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare confirmed the approval, with each state set to receive N21.2 million for enhanced surveillance and rapid response.
