Six Nigerian nationals with a combined 35 criminal convictions have been deported from Ireland. The operation, involving Frontex, saw the individuals fly from Dublin to Rome and then to Lagos. Minister for Justice Jim O’Callaghan confirmed the successful deportation on July 28, highlighting the importance of a rules-based immigration system.
