A female motorist has died in a single-vehicle accident in Lagos, according to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA). The incident occurred on Sunday at Mangoro, inward Ile-Zik. Preliminary investigations indicate the driver lost control of her Toyota Sienna, veering off the road and crashing into a building, resulting in her immediate death. She was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
LASTMA officials promptly secured the scene, and traffic flow was restored. The agency’s General Manager, Olalekan Bakare-Oki, highlighted the dangers of excessive speed and reckless driving, emphasizing adherence to traffic regulations to prevent fatal crashes.
