Falz accuses Tinubu of hiring counter protesters at #EndInsecurity march

Singer Falz has accused President Tinubu of mobilising paid counter protesters, mostly women, to oppose the #EndInsecurity protests held on Democracy Day, June 12.

Rapper and activist Falz is fuming. Days after marching in the #EndInsecurity protest alongside Femi Falana and Omoyele Sowore, the singer took to Instagram to accuse President Bola Tinubu of hiring a crowd of counter protesters — mostly women — to undermine the demonstration.

Daily Post Nigeria reports that the protests, held on Democracy Day, were triggered by relentless killings and mass abductions across Nigeria, including schoolchildren still missing in Oyo State and over 176 captives from Kwara’s Woro community. “It could be your children tomorrow,” Falz warned, adding that Nigeria was at a breaking point.
