The Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has refuted claims by former Senator Iyabo Obasanjo regarding her resignation from the party. The APC stated that Obasanjo was treated fairly and had equal opportunities as other aspirants. Obasanjo cited disrespect and intimidation as reasons for leaving.
APC’s Publicity Secretary, Femi Nuberu, emphasized the party’s commitment to democratic principles. He noted that Obasanjo joined the APC shortly before the primary and was given a level playing field.
