Abia State police have apprehended two individuals in Aba following a stop-and-search operation that led to the recovery of firearms. The suspects, identified as David Emmanuel (33) and Joel Emeka (25), were arrested after a third accomplice escaped.
During the operation, police seized a locally made pistol, ammunition, and live cartridges. The suspects are currently in custody as investigations continue at the State Criminal Investigation Department, with charges expected to follow.
