Kidnappers recount how they orchestrated Adelabu’s sister, twins’ abduction

Suspects arrested over the abduction of former Power Minister Adebayo Adelabu’s sister, Mrs Olaide Busayo Adegoke, and her twin sons have revealed how the operation was allegedly planned.

According to Tribune Online, one suspect, Segun Balogun, said the gang initially considered abducting Adelabu’s mother before switching target to the twins. He claimed gang leader Adewale Abolarinwa, also known as Oloro, asked him to identify the family home and later recruited him as the driver for the operation.

Another suspect, Dare Oyedele, known as Solution, allegedly helped with surveillance and logistics before the June 3 abduction.

Police later rescued the victims from Lako Community in Ibadan and arrested several suspects, while recovering weapons linked to the gang.
