Primate Elijah Ayodele has dismissed the National Democratic Congress, NDC, as a “political trap” with no real future ahead of the 2027 elections.
According to Daily Post, the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church leader said the party was created for a mission and warned politicians who rushed into it that they may eventually regret the move.
Ayodele described the NDC as a platform for “political errand boys,” insisting it is not a serious party and will not make any meaningful impact in 2027.
He also argued that the only real path to removing the ruling party is for opposition politicians to unite under one strong umbrella.
The cleric had earlier warned that the NDC would lead nowhere, even if its promoters contested under the platform.
