President Bola Tinubu has reminded Nigerians that the battle against terrorism and insecurity is not the responsibility of security agencies alone but a collective national duty.
According to The PUNCH, the President praised members of the Armed Forces, Police, DSS, NSCDC and other security operatives for their courage and sacrifices in confronting terrorists, bandits and kidnappers across the country.
Tinubu described security personnel as the shield protecting citizens from violence, while also acknowledging the sacrifices made by their families.
He urged Nigerians to support security efforts by providing credible and timely information, stressing that intelligence from citizens remains vital in tackling crime.
Reaffirming his administration’s resolve, Tinubu declared that Nigeria would not bow to fear or allow terrorists and violent criminals to define the nation’s future.
