The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has declared a three-day national mourning period from June 12 to June 14 due to escalating insecurity. CAN is urging the Federal Government to declare a state of emergency on security nationwide. The organization expressed alarm over rising violence, kidnappings, and attacks, condemning the ‘barbaric acts’ against citizens and demanding decisive action.
