According to Vanguard, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adeboye, has urged the Federal Government to give security chiefs a 90-day deadline to eliminate terrorism or step aside.
In a video shared on X, Adeboye argued that Nigeria’s worsening insecurity requires urgent action and stronger accountability from those leading the fight against terrorists. He also called on authorities to target not only terrorists but their financiers and backers, regardless of their status or influence.
The cleric recalled making a similar recommendation to a former president, saying the directive was never fully enforced. His remarks come amid growing public concern over persistent attacks, kidnappings and banditry across the country, Vanguard reports.
