Street-pop singer Portable has intensified his foray into celebrity boxing by challenging former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua to a match, provided he is paid a N1 billion fight purse. The “Zazuu” crooner made the audacious claim on Thursday during a heated public face-off ahead of his scheduled exhibition bout against content creator Carter Efe. Portable, who has previously secured victories in celebrity matches against actor Charles Okocha and singer Speed Darlington, positioned himself as the premiere figure in the local scene, asserting that no rival could snatch the “belt” from his possession.

The singer’s latest callout comes as he prepares for the “Chaos in the Ring 4” event, set to take place today, May 1, at the Balmoral Hall of the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos. Portable has already turned his exhibition career into a lucrative venture, revealing in February that he was paid N40 million just to sign the contract for the fight against Carter Efe.
