The carrier has suspended flights to 10 destinations in the region, cancelling more than 100 flights weekly and affecting up to 50,000 passengers who normally travel between Africa and the Gulf.
The airline said cargo operations have also been heavily affected as security risks rise across regional airspace following strikes linked to Operation Epic Fury. While the airline is redeploying aircraft to other international routes to reduce financial losses, analysts warn that the conflict could push global aviation costs higher if oil prices continue to rise.
