Suspected Boko Haram fighters killed at least 21 people and razed homes in coordinated attacks across communities in Niger State.
Suspected Boko Haram fighters have killed at least 21 people in fresh attacks on communities in Borgu and Agwara LGAs of Niger State. The gunmen reportedly stormed Konkoso and nearby villages, shooting residents and setting homes ablaze late Friday night.
Security sources said the attackers also invaded Pissa, Zango and Tungan Maƙeri, burning houses and shops during the raids. As of press time, the gunmen were reportedly still operating in the area, triggering fear and panic among residents.
